Dell XPS 13 9345 and the Dell Inspiron 14 7441 Plus could soon be the company’s first laptops with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X-series processors. Images of the next generation of Dell laptops have been released in cyberspace. They are said to be equipped with a dedicated button to launch Microsoft’s Copilot chatbot as well as support for AI functions. The Dell laptop will reportedly support Microsoft’s upcoming Windows AI Explorer, which is expected to launch in late 2024.
On Friday, Windows Report published images of two new laptops: the Dell XPS 13 9345 and the Inspiron 14 7441 Plus. According to the report, these laptops will be similar to the previous XPS and Inspiron laptops and will use Snapdragon X Elite chips instead of AMD or Intel processors.
Leaked images of the Dell XPS 13 9345 show the laptop from various angles and reveal an OLED display with narrow bezels and a dedicated Copilot key. The laptop also has a touch-sensitive bar with exit, delete and function keys. Additionally, similar to the Dell XPS 13 Plus with 12th Gen Intel Core Alder, the right and left sides of the keyboard are extended to the edges of the case. The Lake processor was presented at CES 2022.
The Dell Inspiron 14 7441 Plus, on the other hand, has the same design as the company’s current Inspiron series of laptops, with rounded edges. According to the leaked images, the keyboard will also have a dedicated Copilot key as well as a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button. The Inspiron 14 7441 Plus also has a relatively large trackpad.
In terms of connectivity, the Dell XPS 13 9345 has two USB Type-C ports. On the other hand, the Dell Inspiron 14 7441 Plus has two USB Type-C ports, one USB Type-A port and a microSD card slot. The leaked images show
Dell has not yet announced plans to release new XPS and Inspiron laptops with Qualcomm Snapdragon. There’s also no word on pricing for either laptop, but we expect these details and other product specifications to be released online in the coming months ahead of their launch.
