Intel, AMD based Acer Aspire 7 gaming laptop launched

Acer is revamping its gaming laptop lineup with the Acer Aspire 7 in India. The laptop comes in four variants, two of which are powered by Intel processors, while the other two run on AMD Ryzen SoC. With a weight of 2.15 kg, the starting price of the Aspire 7 is 54,990 and can be purchased on Flipkart. Acer says the new laptop is aimed at casual gamers who also like to have the ‘portability’ factor.

You get a 15.6-inch FHD screen with 100% sRGB color gamut. This comes in addition to Acer’s suite of Color Intelligence and ExaColor software. Although the bezels aren’t the narrowest on the Aspire 7, it still manages to achieve a screen-to-body ratio of 81.61%. It also features BluelightShield technology to reduce eye strain during long periods of use.

While two variants are powered by 9th generation Intel Core i7 and i5 processors, the other two are powered by AMD Ryzen 3000 CPUs. It supports up to 1 TB M.2 PCIe SSD and up to 32 GB DDR4 (SO-DIMM) RAM along with Intel/AMD processors. They also come with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics processor. Aspire 7 has HDMI and USB 3.2 (Type-C) ports as well as Wi-Fi 6 with MU-MIMO technology. And as for the battery, the casual gaming laptop is claimed to provide up to 8.5 hours of battery life per day.
